I see Sophia in that picture of you! And I absolutely love that song. My sister recently started a "Dance Therapy" thread on Whatsapp so I chose that song and "danced" to it to get out some nervous energy before a big menopause event that I moderated. It helped. Thanks for the reminder of the song and that love can be a form of resistance. Your posts are always so comforting. I was psyched to see this in my inbox!

I would not call myself a Cat Stevens aka Yusuf Islam fan, but that's a fun, well-done song and does fit the moment. The moment feels collectively precarious and dangerous, but like Pema Chödron and others say, we have to welcome in the uncertainty, learn to live with the carpet being pulled out from under us. And meanwhile protect our peace, like you say. Yeah, no one said it would be easy.
